Arvon Township is a legal township of Baraga County in the state of Michigan. Located in the beautiful Upper Peninsula, it had a population of 496 in the 2020 census.
Arvon Township’s name is derived from the district of Carnarvon in Wales, famous for its slate industry. Great deposits of slate in the area provided for a slate quarry operation.
